Christ the King is a friendly, welcoming Church at the heart of Haldens in Welwyn Garden City. We are a Church at the heart of the Community and offer a place of welcome and hospitality for All. Churches Open Christ the King, Haldens is open on Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 for the midweek Parish Eucharist at 10am followed by coffee, cookies and a chance for a chat. St John's, Monks Rise is open Sundays 8:00am-11:00am, with a Sunday Morning Parish Eucharist at 9.30am is followed by refreshments. CAFE LIFE IN THE PARISH Coffee Pot Every Friday morning at St John's from 9am-12 Noon with daily specials, tea, coffee and snacks. Come and meet friends and enjoy some conversation! Saturday morning The Hub Cafe is open 9am til 12 Noon. Tea, coffee, toasted teacakes, a weekly special, juices and snacks and chance for a chat. and we have a lovely selection of paperbacks to buy or swap. Free Wi-Fi at both cafes, plenty of room for buggies and snacks for our four legged friends.
