Congleton Pentecostal Church is a Christian Church in Cross Street, Congleton which is known locally as Cross Street Church.Cross Street Church is an independent family church in Congleton with a strong emphasis on Bible teaching in its Church services. This Congleton Church is based in Cross Street in the centre of Congleton and works with other Christian Churches in Congleton to organise the annual Congleton Bible Week. The Church's Minister is Andrew Calvert, a Bible teacher who was born in Congleton and believes in the Bible as the inspired Word of God. This Church in Congleton communicates the unchanging Gospel message in an uncompromising, relevant and contemporary way. The monthly Family service is always a highlight. It is a child-friendly service for all the family and the Christian gospel message is communicated in a creative and visual way which can be understood by children and yet is also a challenge to the adults. Church services: There are two Sunday services, the morning communion service and the evening service. Throughout the week there are activities for all ages: parent and toddler group, children's club (The King's Club), youth club (Quest) & youth discovery group, fellowship meeting for over 55s(Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship), exercise group (Shape up with Shirley), Bible study and prayer groups. This Christian Church in Congleton is a place of worship where a variety of styles of music are enjoyed, both traditional hymns and modern songs. The focus of the worship is the Lord Jesus Christ. There is always a warm welcome for visitors and its a great place to make new friends.
