At Saorsa, we offer regular classes in HEMA -Historical European Martial Arts. HEMA is the practice and study of European sword fighting techniques. We work from old textbooks and manuals to teach our speciality weapon: the Scottish Broadsword - a weapon used in Scotland for hundreds of years. Based in Glasgow, we run fencing lessons twice a week on Monday and Saturday. The Glasgow HEMA scene is small but fast growning and we welcome anyone and everyone to be part of it!
