State of the Arts Academy in Hull delivers professional, inclusive and affordable performing arts training for all ages and abilities. Our aim is to provide an accessible and friendly environment where students can develop and excel in their chosen avenue of creative performing arts. A fantastic and new exciting addition to Hull’s Old Town is State of the Arts Academy. Cobbled streets are surrounded by reminders of Hull’s past. In the museum quarter you’ll find everything from 200 years of transport history, to the replica of an early 20th century street. Nearby is the home of one of Hull’s most famous sons William Wilberforce. Located on the High Street, the academy resides in a purpose-built venue, once accommodating Hull College of Performing Art
